How do I place an order on homentools.com?

Placing an order is simple. Browse our store, add the products you want to your cart, and proceed to checkout. Enter your shipping and billing details, choose a payment method, and confirm your order. You'll receive an order confirmation email once your purchase is complete.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept the following payment methods:

Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?

If your order has not yet been dispatched, we may be able to modify or cancel it. Please contact us as soon as possible at contact@homentools.com with your order number. Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be modified, but you may still return it under our Return and Refund Policy.

Are prices on homentools.com inclusive of VAT?

Yes, all prices displayed on our website include VAT (Value Added Tax) unless otherwise stated. The total price you see at checkout is the final amount you will pay, with no hidden charges.

Shipping & Delivery

Where do you deliver?

We currently deliver throughout Romania. All orders are dispatched from our warehouse in București. If you are located outside Romania, please contact our support team to check availability.

How long does delivery take?

Estimated delivery times within Romania are:
  • Standard Shipping: 3 – 5 business days
  • Express Shipping: 1 – 2 business days
Delivery times are calculated from the date of dispatch. Orders are processed within 1 – 2 business days after payment confirmation.

How much does shipping cost?

Standard shipping costs 15.99 RON and express shipping costs 29.99 RON. We offer free standard shipping on all orders with a total value of 250 RON or more. Shipping costs are clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

How can I track my order?

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this number to track the real-time status of your delivery through the courier's website. If you don't receive the email within 3 business days, please check your spam folder and then contact us.

Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?

You have the right to return any product within 14 calendar days of receiving it, without giving any reason, in accordance with Romanian consumer protection law (OG 34/2014). The product must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging with all tags and accessories intact.

How do I initiate a return?

To initiate a return, email us at contact@homentools.com with the subject line "Return Request – [Your Order Number]." Include the product(s) you want to return and the reason. Our team will respond within 2 business days with return authorization and shipping instructions.

Who pays for return shipping?

If you are returning a product because you changed your mind (14-day withdrawal), the return shipping cost is your responsibility. If the return is due to a defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped product, we will cover the return shipping costs.

How long does it take to receive my refund?

Once we receive and inspect the returned product, refunds are processed within 5 – 10 business days for card and PayPal payments, or 7 – 14 business days for bank transfers. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. The exact time for the refund to appear in your account depends on your bank or provider.

Can I exchange a product instead of returning it?

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange a product, please return the original item following our return process and place a new order for the desired product.

Products & Warranty

Are all products on your website genuine and original?

Yes. We source all products directly from reputable manufacturers and authorized distributors. Every product listed on homentools.com is 100% genuine and comes with the applicable manufacturer warranty.

What warranty do your products come with?

All products sold on our website come with a legal warranty of 24 months from the date of delivery, as required by Romanian law. The warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal use. It does not cover damage from misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications. To file a warranty claim, contact us with your order number and a description of the issue.

What if I receive a defective or damaged product?

If your product arrives defective or damaged, please contact us within 48 hours at contact@homentools.com. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs. We will arrange a free replacement or a full refund, including shipping costs.

Do I need an account to place an order?

No, you can place an order as a guest. However, creating an account allows you to track your orders, view order history, save your shipping details for faster checkout, and manage your communication preferences.

How do you protect my personal information?
